SC Academic Innovations: Collaborating to Advance Academic Innovations - SCRA works directly with academic institutions and affiliated startups – creating opportunities to advance research capabilities and commercialize technology.

Entrepreneurial Programs: Supporting Startups through SC Launch - SCRA’s Entrepreneurial Program, SC Launch, provides startups with mentoring, access to a network of business experts and grants. Companies may be eligible for an investment from SC Launch, Inc. The program is open to qualified South Carolina companies in the Advanced Manufacturing and Materials, Information Technology and Life Sciences sectors.

SCRA Launch & Learns - 45-minute sessions are hosted with our Resource Partner Network to provide a casual learning environment as well as a structured lesson plan. The sessions will cover a variety of topics of interest to startups, such as incorporation, general legal issues, pro forma, general accounting, sales and marketing strategies, fundraising, etc.

  • Executives-on-Roster – A collaborative platform for MUSC affiliated researchers and startup founders to access experienced executive talent to serve as an Advisor, Primary Investigator on SBIR/STTR grant, and/or an executive to join their management team.
